China's top court said on Friday that a collaborative online platform has successfully mediated and resolved numerous financial disputes, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers.
The platform, jointly established by the National Financial Regulatory Administration and the Supreme People's Court, has played an important role in easing difficulties faced by micro and small-sized enterprises and in providing financial services to support agricultural development, according to a statement from the SPC.
The top court and the regulatory administration on Friday highlighted six representative cases, illustrating how coordinated efforts have helped mitigate agricultural risks, reduce farmers' disaster-related losses, and balance the sustainability of enterprises with the interests of creditors.
The cases also underscored the key role of mediation in resolving financial disputes and highlighted its importance in raising financial consumers' awareness of their legal rights, the authorities added.
