On Feb 2, a Chinese New Year celebration was held at Panda Ridge at the San Diego Zoo in California. Guo Shaochun, the Chinese consul general in Los Angeles and Paul Baribault, the president of the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance attended the event and sent gifts to the visitors.
