The Invisible Horse art exhibition, celebrating Xu Beihong's renowned horse-themed works, opened on Tuesday at CITIC Square in Shanghai's Jing'an district. As a highlight of Jing'an's Year of the Horse consumption season, the exhibition offers immersive traditional art experiences.
Co-organized by CITIC Square and creative agency Rinceau, the exhibition features classic horse images drawn from Xu Beihong's works. Xu (1895-1953), a pioneer of modern Chinese painting, was renowned for his dynamic horse-themed works that embody unyielding spirit.

The exhibition employs visual design techniques to transform two-dimensional art into three-dimensional installations, vividly presenting horses in dynamic poses such as galloping, pausing, looking back, and leaping. Additional events include Lai Dequan's ceramic art exhibition, a limited-time Year of the Horse installation by MCM, and floral workshops.
Running until late Feb, the exhibition adds cultural charm to the Year of the Horse Spring Festival.
