China Eastern Airlines is going to put all its 10 C919 aircrafts into commercial operation during the upcoming summer-autumn season starting Sunday, and with that, 280 flights will operate every week, announced the Shanghai-based carrier on Friday.
In the new season, two regular routes of Shanghai-Shenyang and Xi'an-Guangzhou will be launched, which will make the number of regular flights run by China Eastern's C919 fleet reach 12.
The newly added flights will also make Shenyang of Northeast China's Liaoning province the 10th city where China Eastern's C919 fleet is operated after Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu of Sichuan province, Xi'an of Shaanxi province, Guangzhou of Guangdong province, Taiyuan of Shanxi province, Wuhan of Hubei province, and Hong Kong.
With the delivery of more C919 in the new flight season, China Eastern will continue to introduce more new commercial flights being operated by the domestically made aircraft, said the airliner.
