Jiang Wenhao, a passionate advocate for running, founded the Dream Chasers running club in his hometown of Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, back in September 2015. His goal was to unite individuals who share a passion for running, enrich lives through sports, and inspire more residents of Wuxi to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
In an interview with Jiang, he highlighted a pivotal moment in the evolution of Wuxi's running culture — the inception of the Wuxi Marathon. This annual event has drawn a significant number of local runners, motivating them to train hard and get in shape. Furthermore, the enhancement of the city's ecological landscape and the development of supportive running infrastructure have made running more accessible and enjoyable.
