Qinghe county, a key hub in China's cashmere industry, put on a stunning showcase at the 2025 Milano Fashion Week on Wednesday by hosting the third Qinghe Cashmere Milan Brand Promotion Conference in Milan, Italy.
Themed "Qinghe Cashmere: A Fashion in Harmony with Nature", the conference featured major cashmere brands E-SAN, Yadanmir, Baimuyang, and Jingshang, showcasing the premium quality of their goods, and the companies' commitment to sustainability.
Renowned as China's cashmere capital, Qinghe county, Hebei province, has been actively expanding its presence in the global fashion market in recent years. This latest event marks a significant step in its internationalization strategy, showcasing high-end craftsmanship and sustainable innovation to an audience of industry leaders.

The event took place at Sozzani Fondazione, an iconic venue founded by Italian fashion figure Carla Sozzani, who attended and spoke at the event.
"The most successful fashion brands, whether traditional or emerging, all incorporate cashmere in their collections," she said. "Cashmere has become synonymous with high-end fashion.
"I have learned that most of the world's cashmere now comes from China, and within China, the finest quality originates in Qinghe county."

Geng Xiewei, counselor at the Chinese Consulate General in Milan, also said that the Qinghe Cashmere promotion at Milano Fashion Week reflects the growing international presence of Chinese manufacturing, design, and brands.
Geng said he hoped that Qinghe cashmere would seize this opportunity to expand its industry chain, strengthen its own brands, enhance international recognition, and further explore collaboration potential with Italy and Europe, fostering stronger Sino-Italian economic and trade cooperation.

More than 100 international buyers and fashion experts attended, with many expressing admiration for Qinghe's world-class quality and sustainability efforts.
"The quality of Qinghe cashmere is astonishing," remarked one Italian buyer. "From fabric texture to design details, everything meets world-class standards. Their commitment to sustainability makes me very optimistic about their future."
