His comments came as Chinese top leadership reiterated China's commitment to boosting the private sector through concrete efforts to implement supportive policies and measures during a symposium on private enterprises on Monday in Beijing.
Nan said the symposium, which was held at a critical juncture, has a far-reaching influence. It affirms the major achievements made by private enterprises and their great contributions to China's economic and social development, emphasizing the country's continued efforts to bolster the growth of the private sector, he noted.
Specifically, it has set the direction for the healthy and high-quality development of private economy in the current and future periods, and bolstered the company's confidence to deal with internal and external challenges, he added.
Looking ahead, Nan said the company will constantly cultivate new industries, new models and new growth drivers featuring green, low-carbon and sustainable characteristics, and achieve breakthroughs in the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation.
