WASHINGTON - Republican candidate Donald Trump declared victory early Wednesday in the 2024 US presidential election, as Fox News projected that he would win 277 Electoral College votes.
At least 270 Electoral College votes are needed to clinch the presidency. As Trump spoke, no other major US media outlets called the election for him.
