A hanfu exhibition held in the digital industrial park in Caoxian county, Heze, Shandong province, on Jan 8 proved popular among visitors impressed by the more than 30 new traditional Chinese-style designs. The head of the enterprise, Hu Chunqing, is currently busy designing new Spring Festival outfits, aiming to boost sales in New Year. At the entrance of the industrial park, the new 10-kilovolt electricity line built by State Grid Heze Power Supply Company is about to be put into operation, providing stable and reliable electrical support for hanfu e-commerce entrepreneurs.
As a young college student engaged in entrepreneurship in his hometown, Hu has witnessed the magnificent transformation of Heze's hanfu e-commerce industry from traditional family workshops to modern fully-electrified production facilities. He has observed the digitization transformation journey of power supply services. Heze is home to some 2,200 upstream and downstream hanfu e-commerce enterprises, 14,000 online stores and more than 100,000 practitioners, with total online and offline sales exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.36 billion), making it well known as China’s capital of original hanfu.
In response to the widespread distribution of hanfu e-commerce enterprises and low efficiency in power equipment inspections, State Grid Heze Power Supply Company embraced the trend of digitalization in the power grid. Through the use of drones and Beidou satellite positioning technology for autonomous inspections, the identification rate of hidden dangers has significantly improved. Intelligent functions have been developed by leveraging digital platforms to reduce data analysis time, accurately pinpoint fault zones and provide a power guarantee for the development of the hanfu e-commerce industry.
