Japanese court hands life sentence to shooter of ex-PM Abe

TOKYO - The Nara District Court on Wednesday sentenced Tetsuya Yamagami, the man charged with fatally shooting former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in July 2022, to life in prison.
