BEIJING -- Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's erroneous remarks on Taiwan have not only provoked strong indignation among the Chinese people, but also drawn increasing opposition and criticism from objective and rational people in Japan, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Thursday.
