The exhibition was produced by Gong Zhaohui, an alumnus of Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. A collector of prints by Dali himself, Gong and curator of the exhibition Wang Xun also borrowed the works of Dali from collectors and institutions from home and abroad.

Dali being the most celebrated Surrealist artist in the 20th century, created lots of works reflecting on the large number of new findings and achievements in the scientific world of his lifetime, from psychology to quantum physics and life science. Gong hopes that students of Fudan University will be inspired by the creations of Dali.

Also on exhibition are Dali's illustrations for the Spanish novel Don Quixote, as well as Dix recettes d'immortalite (Ten Recipes for Immortality), a series consisting of dry point etchings with Heliogravures and three-dimensional objects.

The exhibition is open free to students as well as the general public, who has to make appointment on the university's WeChat platform and enter the Jiangwan Campus with a valid ID.
