A teacher surnamed Zheng has been fired by the Middle School Attached to Guangxi University after the school confirmed that Zheng had engaged in serious violations of professional ethics as a teacher, said the school on Saturday.
The school has submitted the relevant materials to the public security authorities and the school is cooperating with the authorities in further investigation, according to a statement from the school.
Previously, several netizens posted articles on Saturday, alleging that a high school teacher at the Nanning campus of the middle school had been coercing a student into having sexual relations with him and making threatening phone calls to the student.
