"The production tasks are heavy after Spring Festival. We've just resumed production, and here you are with your service, helping us inspect the electrical equipment. We'll fix the problem right away regarding the mouse-proof board at the entrance of the distribution room you mentioned just now. Thank you very much. This makes us feel at ease to resume production!" On Feb 13, Yang Shimin, the manager of Shimin Grain and Oil Co Ltd in Pingluo county, Shizuishan city, thanked the power inspection personnel of State Grid Shizuishan Power Supply Company. This is a microcosm of the company's efforts to assist enterprises in safely resuming production after Spring Festival.
After the Spring Festival holiday, enterprises resumed production one after another. The customer managers of State Grid Shizuishan Power Supply Company took the initiative to visit enterprises, getting "up close" to them. They went deep into the production workshops and conducted a comprehensive and focused "physical examination" of electrical equipment such as transformers, distribution rooms, power distribution lines, circuit breakers, and distribution boxes within the factory area. They helped check for potential hazards such as overheating at the connections of production equipment, poor contact, aging of lines, whether the wiring in the distribution cabinets was standardized, the condition of self-provided power supplies, and whether the transformers were overloaded or leaking oil. As the problems and defects were identified, they formulated rectification plans and assisted enterprises in making timely rectifications. At the same time, they learned about the electricity demands of enterprises, introduced the "State Grid Online APP" to the enterprise heads, earnestly listened to users' opinions and suggestions on power supply services before Spring Festival, and carefully grasped the problems existing in the operation of electrical equipment after Spring Festival. For the potential safety hazards found during the inspection, written rectification notices were issued promptly, and users were guided to conduct self-inspections and rectifications of potential safety hazards, ensuring that "no potential hazard is overlooked and the cause is clear-cut". The work of addressing potential hazards was carried out solidly and meticulously to ensure safe production after Spring Festival.
As of now, the company has carried out inspections for potential safety hazards in electricity use and low-voltage terminals at 32 key customers and 85 livestock farmers in its jurisdiction. It has been tracking and urging the implementation of rectification measures. Through practical actions, it provides services to users and eliminates potential hazards, ensuring that customers can use electricity safely and with peace of mind.
