To ensure a safe and reliable power supply for the Lantern Festival, the State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company firmly assumed the responsibility of power supply guarantee on Feb 11. It organized staff members to conduct a "carpet-style" hidden danger inspection of key lantern exhibition areas, power supply lines, distribution boxes, and temporary power-using equipment in advance through the collaborative inspection of "unmanned aerial vehicles + manual work". Moreover, it implemented round-the-clock monitoring of potential external damage points around the lantern exhibition, going all out to prepare for the power supply guarantee work during the Lantern Festival.
To ensure the safe, reliable and stable operation of the power lines and equipment in the scenic area, the State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company carefully summarized the experience of power protection work during the Spring Festival, and meticulously formulated a plan to ensure power for the Lantern Festival. It made arrangements for the continuous power during the Lantern Festival in such aspects as power grid operation, accident repair, and load distribution, ensuring that the responsibilities of each link are assigned to specific individuals. An emergency repair team was established, and the allocation of personnel, vehicles, materials, and tools was optimized. The power consumption in each area was closely monitored to be ready for emergency repair at any time. A comprehensive safety hazard inspection was carried out in the scenic area. The number of special inspections and night inspections of key lines and key areas was increased. Major inspections were conducted on the power sources, switches, and power supply lines in the key areas and important sections for the Lantern Festival activities. Potential hazards were promptly eliminated to ensure the healthy and stable operation of the equipment and lines, laying a solid foundation for the safe and reliable power supply.

At the same time, the State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company also organized volunteers to visit the lantern fair marketplaces, communities and streets. They distributed safe electricity - using brochures to merchants and tourists, and mainly popularized the hazards of fireworks and sky lanterns to power facilities, guiding citizens to enjoy the lanterns in a civilized manner. In response to the increased electricity demand in rural areas brought about by the people returning home. Grid workers took the initiative to visit the left-behind families to inspect and repair power lines and replace aging switches, ensuring worry-free electricity use for the "last mile".
