The United States should stop politicizing and instrumentalizing trade issues, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Wednesday.
Lin made the remarks at a regular news conference after the US Postal Service announced it will temporarily suspend international package acceptance of inbound parcels from the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong without providing a reason.
The US should stop cracking down on Chinese companies, Lin said, adding that China will continue to take necessary measures to safeguard the lawful rights of Chinese companies.
