The 2025 New Year Reception for Foreign Journalists in China was held in Beijing, celebrating the first Chinese New Year since Spring Festival was added to UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The activity welcomed around 800 attendees, including foreign journalists stationed in China and their families, diplomatic envoys, experts, scholars and media representatives.
A cultural temple fair, including immersive Spring Festival folk activities and traditional Chinese food, offered attendees a rich experience of Chinese culture and vibrant festive celebration.
