The Soong Ching Ling Peace Angel Art Troupe's annual dance gala was held at the China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People on Wednesday, attracting 400 spectators.
The performances featured a range of genres, including Chinese folk dance, ballet, modern dance and Chinese classical dance. The show also incorporated elements of dances from various ethnic groups.

Han Jing, the dance troupe leader, described the performance as an artistic presentation that showcases the young children's vitality and energy.
"The performance aims to guide children in expressing their journey from youth to maturity and professional growth through various dance forms. While learning dance skills, we focus on helping children understand and embrace Chinese culture, igniting their passion for cultural knowledge and enabling them to deeply appreciate the essence of dance art. The children use their learned skills to interpret the beauty of Chinese culture, conveying their pursuit of dreams and love for their motherland," she explained.

Zheng Wenyu, a troupe member who performed in a dance depicting scenes of unity and love among the ethnic groups in China, expressed that participating in such a large-scale dance performance was an invaluable experience for her. This dance also instilled in her a strong sense of national pride.

The Soong Ching Ling Peace Angel Art Troupe's dance troupe has previously represented Chinese youth in cultural and artistic exchange activities in countries such as Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
