中关村是我国创新发展的一面旗帜，在推进科技自立自强中肩负重要使命。把中关村论坛打造成为面向全球高科技创新交流合作的国家级平台，是党中央作出的一项重要决策。中关村论坛以“创新与发展”为永久主题，旨在促进各国共享创新思想和发展理念，共议前沿科技与未来产业发展，共商全球创新规则和科技治理，共同推动科学技术造福各国人民。自2007年起，历经十余年发展，中关村论坛已成为全球性、综合性、开放性的科技创新高端国际论坛。中关村论坛聚焦国际科技创新前沿和热点问题，每年设置不同议题，邀请全球顶尖科学家、领军企业家、新锐创业者等共同参与，纵论创新，交流分享，引发各界广泛关注，不断传播新思想、提炼新模式、引领新发展。
2025中关村论坛年会以“新质生产力与全球科技合作”为年度主题，设置了论坛会议、技术交易、成果发布、前沿大赛、配套活动等5大板块、128场活动，涉及100多个国家和地区，上千名演讲嘉宾齐聚一堂，共议科技创新培育新质生产力，为全球创新发展提供新思路、新启示。
