"Since we have a fast charging station right at our doorstep, charging with a fast charging station is indeed fast!" On Feb 25, Zhang Wei, who was driving a new energy vehicle, used a fast charging station at the charging station of San Yi Tong Jinchang State-owned Public Transport Operation Co Ltd to fully charge his car in less than half an hour, which amazed him.
It is reported that the charging station of San Yi Tong Jinchang State-owned Public Transport Operation Co Ltd was officially put into operation on Jan 15. The station features 25 DC fast charging piles in total, with a maximum charging speed of 120 kilowatts per hour, ensuring high charging efficiency. Equipped with an intelligent charging information platform and remote monitoring system, the station monitors all charging stations 24/7 and in multiple directions, allowing for real-time tracking of the charging piles' working status and vehicle charging conditions. This creates a favorable situation for new energy users and lays a solid foundation for the development of the new energy business market in Jinchang city. It aims to achieve the common development of cities and enterprises, as well as provide a solid power guarantee for green travel of the masses.

According to calculations, it takes approximately 40 minutes for an electric car to fully charge, and 70 kWh of electricity can power an electric car to travel over 400 kilometers. Compared to gasoline-powered cars of the same price, driving 20,000 kilometers per year can result in a total cost savings of approximately 10,000 yuan.
In recent years, the number of new energy vehicles in Jinchang city has grown rapidly, and the demand for charging has also increased accordingly. Since 2024, Jinchang city has vigorously promoted the layout and construction of charging infrastructure to meet the charging needs of new energy vehicle owners and improve green travel efficiency. State Grid Jinchang Power Supply Company actively implements the decision-making and deployment of various levels of government, actively connects with relevant departments, strengthens communication and cooperation, continuously optimizes the internal project approval process, appropriately builds supporting power facilities ahead of schedule, opens up green channels for the operation of super-fast charging power station projects, and ensures that super-fast charging stations are put into operation on schedule.
Simultaneously, the company actively engages in communication and coordination with investment and construction entities to address challenges encountered during the construction process. This ensures the concurrent execution and completion of both internal and external projects of the charging station, thereby guaranteeing the power supply necessary for its operation. Additionally, the company promotes "one-stop" services to effectively address various electricity-related difficulties, ensuring safe and reliable electricity for electric vehicle charging facility construction projects.
To facilitate green travel for the public, the company enhances its operation and maintenance services, closely monitoring weather changes, service orders, and equipment status. It maintains new energy vehicle charging piles at bus stations, parking lots, and other locations within the jurisdiction of Jinchang city. Additionally, the company conducts extensive safety inspections and patrols. Regular special inspections and infrared temperature measurements are carried out on important transmission lines and facilities to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of the power supply connection points for charging piles and transmission lines. The company also inspects the stacking of miscellaneous items and illegal storage of flammable and explosive materials in the charging area, promptly addressing any operational hazards to ensure the normal use and charging efficiency of the charging piles.
