Private enterprises should play a vital role in bolstering technological innovation and making greater contributions to the development of the digital economy, said Qi Xiangdong, chairman of cybersecurity company Qi-Anxin Technology Group.
His comments came as Chinese top leadership reiterated China's commitment to boosting the private sector through concrete efforts to implement supportive policies and measures during a symposium on private enterprises on Monday in Beijing.
Qi said the symposium inspired his enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and boosted the company's confidence to overcome difficulties, while giving private enterprises reassurance and "encouraging us to roll up our sleeves and continue to work hard."
He said the combination of artificial intelligence with a wide range of industries will give birth to new application scenarios and new business models, adding as a company in the field of cybersecurity, it will strive for sci-tech innovation and facilitate the high-quality growth of the digital economy.
