Over 100 tourists from Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries boarded train K7041 at Harbin Railway Station on Monday evening, beginning a themed rail journey through Heilongjiang province aimed at showcasing local folk culture.

The train, operated by China Railway Harbin Group, carried passengers to Mohe, the northernmost city in the province. During the trip, travelers took part in a range of cultural activities, including Ewenki birch bark pyrography demonstrations, Oroqen folk songs, embroidery displays, and Northeast yangko dance. Passengers were also invited to try traditional crafts such as paper-cutting and dumpling making, as well as a traditional Manchu folk game.

The train itself featured ice-and-snow tourism elements, with winter sports equipment like triangle sleds and simple bamboo skis displayed in carriage vestibules.

To support the international group, Harbin Railway Station opened a dedicated channel for tour passengers, while staff from the Qiqihar Passenger Transport Section arranged bilingual volunteers to assist travelers during the journey. Multilingual travel guides were provided on board, offering background on local scenery and folk traditions along the route.
