Nearly 1,000 vehicles were showcased at the 2025 China (Tianjin) International Automobile Exhibition during the National Day holiday, including 480 new energy vehicles, highlighting the achievements in the intelligent and green transformation of the automotive industry.
The auto show pioneered an indoor dynamic display area, featuring professional test-drive courses that covered various road conditions such as bumps and curves. Audience was able to learn about the vehicle's performance through staff explanations, demonstrations, and personal hands-on experiences.

The Formula Leopard brand automobile demonstrated a 30-degree climb and extreme turning, with a minimum turning radius of just 3.4 meters. U8 Yang Wang showcased a simulation of its "emergency floating" function, demonstrating stable flotation even when the vehicle's wading depth reached 1.4 meters.
More than 20 automotive brands collectively launched multiple new models in September, which made their debut at the exhibition, such as the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance's brand-new AITO M7, Tesla's large six-seater SUV—Model YL, and FAW Toyota's first intelligent electric sedan, the BZ5, sparking a wave of on-site car purchases.

"The exhibition this year provided chances for us to test the car ourselves instead of just listening to the staff's explanation; we can test-drive immediately and make a payment if we're satisfied. It's very convenient and efficient," Song Yi, a visitor at the exhibition, said.
New energy vehicles accounted for over 50 percent of the exhibition vehicles at the auto show. Historical data from the China Passenger Car Association shows that in 2020, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China was only 5.4 percent. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers predicted that, based on the current growth trend, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China is expected to exceed 80 percent by 2030. This data marks the formal entry of China's new energy vehicle market into a phase of accelerated replacement of fuel-powered vehicles.

In addition to vehicle showcases, the auto show also hosted events, such as a drifting carnival and a modified car carnival. The exhibition will continue until October 6, offering attendees a rich experience.
"This year's auto show is more interactive compared to previous years. With a great atmosphere, my daughter had a lot of fun," Liu Hui, an attendee who brought along their 4-year-old child, said.
During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival period, the organizing committee of the Tianjin International Auto Show will also collaborate with major automakers, media platforms, and institutions to issue 5 million yuan in automobile consumption vouchers, based on the public's demand for automotive consumption, with a maximum subsidy of 4,500 yuan per vehicle.
