Russia's Federal Agency for Tourism has brought a delegation of over 30 organizations, including tourism boards from nine regions, 21 destination management companies, hotels and museums.

Several overseas national tourism boards and two Chinese cruise companies have also held promotional events.

Qing Qinghui, project director of COTTM, said in a speech that over the past two decades, COTTM has served more than 6,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and regions, and has been witness to the industry's remarkable evolution through changing tides and shifting constellations.

"Technological advancements are reshaping outbound tourism, from product innovation and marketing, to booking decisions and operational management. Artificial intelligence, exemplified by Deepseek, is profoundly transforming China's outbound travel industry through itinerary planning, personalized experiences, efficiency optimization, and trend forecasting."
