The themed tourist train, named "Yichun", departed from Harbin, Heilongjiang province on Saturday morning, carrying over 100 tourists from countries and regions such as Singapore and Malaysia. The passengers embarked on a unique journey to experience the world of Chinese movies, according to China Railway Harbin Group.
As one activity of the "China Movie Consumption Year" initiative, which kicked off on Friday, "China Travel with Chinese Film" is hosted by the National Film Administration and China State Railway Group, actively exploring and expanding new opportunities for tourism consumption to fully meet the growing demand for enriched travel experiences.

Over the next week, tourists on the themed train will visit well-known attractions and filming locations in Harbin and Yichun. Along the journey, there will be activities such as screenings of classic, historical, cultural and documentary films, broadcasting of movie songs, exhibition of movie posters and images, displays of movie-themed cultural and creative products, as well as interactive discussions.
While enjoying the beautiful scenery and tasting delicious food, foreign tourists will be shown the unique cultural charm of Chinese movies.
