With temperatures rising in spring, the Naolihe National Nature Reserve in Heilongjiang province recently welcomed increasing numbers of migratory birds returning from the South.
The reserve has become home to tens of thousands of migratory birds, including rare species such as the red-crowned crane, white-naped crane, and Oriental white stork.

To achieve win-win results in agricultural and environmental protection, the No 853 Company of Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group has cooperated with the reserve to develop effective plans for the migration, hatching, and growth environments of migratory birds.
Starting in early spring, staff from the 853 Station of the reserve conducted a series of inspections, making detailed research on the growth environments of rare birds.

They will continue to focus on building artificial nests, with strict control and protection measures in the hatching area.
To solve food scarcity during the birds' long-distance migration, the staff have distributed over 2,000 kilograms of food at the feeding points, providing ample energy supplementation for the birds before the river melts completely.
