Since its launch on March 7, the MetaSVS virtual cycling university championship has garnered over 50 million online viewers.
As a comprehensive virtual sports competition, the MetaSVS encompasses six disciplines, including cycling, F1, rowing, skiing, jump rope and football. By leveraging digital technology, participants can engage in physical exercise, training, social interaction and competition without time or space constraints. All that is required is a simulator device, enabling indoor participation.
"Our core objective for these events is to reduce the barriers to entry in traditional sports through virtualization. We aim to make it easier for more people to access and enjoy their favorite sports," stated Zhang Jiyue, general manager assistant and tournament director of Juss Intellisports.
