A scenic spot in Hefei, the capital of East China's Anhui province, recently welcomed a spring flower viewing craze.

The spot is called Haitang Huahai, meaning "sea of begonia flowers". True to its name, the park's cherry blossoms and begonias entered full bloom in the past week.

To capitalize on the excitement, the scenic area has arranged night visiting hours for visitors who cannot spare time during work days. The night event features multiple activities, including hanfu (traditional Chinese attire) parades, bonfire parties, camping and barbecue.

Starting mid-March, the cherry blossoms here have entered their peak blooming period, filling the park with cloud-like beauty.

As night falls, hundreds of cherry blossoms present a dreamy effect of pink and white gradients under the reflection of lights, complemented by artificial mist and winding streams.

Visitors can also ride a miniature train through the flower sea to catch the spring breeze and the fragrance.

The park has set up a camping area, offering barbecue delicacies, intangible cultural heritage experiences and other activities.
