In recent years, the number of new-energy vehicles has surged, and convenient charging has become the aspiration of the people. To address issues such as tight parking spaces and insufficient power capacity in the construction of charging facilities in old communities, resettlement communities for relocation, etc, the State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power, in collaboration with local governments, piloted the "unified construction and service" model for charging piles in Lishui. The aim is to efficiently solve the charging problems of residents. The "unified construction and service" model means that, in solving the charging problems of community residents, the government promotes, the power supply company is responsible for investment, operation and maintenance, and the community property provides the site. The three parties collaborate to build charging facilities, achieving unified construction and unified operation and maintenance of charging facilities. A total of 28 public charging areas in communities have been built, including 60 AC charging piles with a total power capacity of 3,600 kilowatts. This not only improves the charging convenience for residents but also avoids wastage of resources.

In addition, the State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power has also carried out the construction of an orderly charging project. During peak electricity consumption periods, it adjusts the power and service fees of charging piles through the vehicle-to-grid (V2G) platform, reasonably distributes the charging load, and implements orderly charging. This ensures the stable operation of the power grid during residents' electricity usage and enhances residents' sense of gain in terms of power supply.

The State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power will continue to optimize the layout of charging facilities, increase the promotion of the "unified construction and unified service" model for charging piles, accelerate the construction of urban application pilot projects, achieve larger-scale and wider-range application practices, and serve green travel.
