A grand parade was held along the Avenue des Champs-Elysees in Paris, France on Sunday to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Traditional lion and dragon dances, Yingge Chinese folk dance from South China's Guangdong province, Chinese Hanfu, Chinese martial arts, costumes of China's Miao ethnic group were showcased during the parade, attracting over 200,000 people to share in the festive atmosphere.
Last December, the Spring Festival was officially inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
