From Jan 20 to Jan 24, the "Hello, Beijing" inbound travel promotion series of activities was successfully held in Türkiye. The event was hosted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and organized by the Beijing Overseas Cultural Exchange Center.
The promotional meeting was opened with the melodious tune of a three-stringed musical instrument performance, after which a presenter vividly introduced Beijing's rich and diverse cultural and tourism resources from aspects such as its intangible cultural heritage, the city that held Olympics twice, which sparked Turkish tourists' longing for a trip to China. The promotional meeting comprehensively presented Beijing's historical culture and modern charm through the introduction of cultural and tourism resources, folk music performances, intangible cultural heritage displays, picture exhibitions, airline route introductions, and other forms.
It also introduced Beijing's continuously improving transportation network, payment methods, tourism information services, and other inbound travel facilitation measures, committed to enhancing tourists' experience. This promotional meeting, with cultural and tourism exchanges as the bond, deepened the bilateral friendship, promoted the exchange and mutual learning of the two countries' civilizations, and contributed to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
The two sides reached a consensus on tapping the potential of tourists and had in-depth discussions on topics such as tourism facilitation measures and cultural exchange projects, with initial cooperation intentions determined. The Türkiye officials attending the meeting expressed that they were very much looking forward to Beijing introducing more traditional Chinese cultural projects to Türkiye, for promotional performances, so that more local people in Türkiye could understand and visit Beijing.
