In recent years, the State Grid Zhuji Power Supply Company in Zhejiang province has been promoting electricity convenience services in rural areas through the "village-grid co-construction" initiative via online and offline rural convenience service systems.

"You can easily find an electrician right at your doorstep to solve problems!" Xuan Fumin from Fengyuan village in Fengqiao town, Zhuji, said when praising the staff members from the company on Jan 15, after Zhao Zheng, a power grid employee from the "village-grid co-construction" electricity service point helped Xuan's family replace a burnt hidden socket in just 30 minutes.

"For any electricity-related issues in the village, you can consult the service points," said Zhao Zheng, a power grid staff member from Fengyuan village at the Fengqiao Power Supply Office, who explained that the electricity service point is located at the village office. When villagers encounter problems, they are able to go there directly. The purpose of setting up the service point there is to make it more convenient for the people without having to run around unnecessarily.

"Ordering electricity service on my phone is so convenient!" said villager Luo Liang when praising the efficient electricity service, as he had to increase the capacity and connect power for his newly purchased electric vehicle. To his surprise, the electricity service procedures were completed without leaving home. "I thought it would take at least a week to get it done, but within three working days, it was all sorted without leaving the house, without even a trip to the service hall."

Entering the "village-grid co-construction" electricity service point in Fengyuan village, people can find self-service electricity terminals, a power supply policy information bulletin board and convenience service boxes equipped to facilitate villagers in handling transactions, inquiries and payments. Power grid staff members are on the village community service WeChat group to facilitate information sharing and service coordination. Every electricity-related request is responded to, tracked and followed up closely. At the same time, online services such as the State Grid App are being promoted to make data useful and save customers' travels, time, efforts and costs.

In the next step, the State Grid Zhuji Power Supply Company said it will continue to promote the "village-grid co-construction", "community-grid co-construction", and "enterprise-grid co-construction" initiatives, aiming to develop power supply services in intelligent, precise and personalized ways.
