China Translation and Publishing House launched the bilingual English For Everyone: Everyday English targeting Chinese learners at the 37th Beijing Book Fair which concluded on Saturday.
The English For Everyone series, co-created by CTPH and UK's DK Publishing, is a comprehensive English learning book series covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Since being published in China in 2018, this series has been successful with the English Grammar Guide, selling more than 300,000 copies and the Illustrated English Dictionary sellingmore than 240,000 copies to date.

Wang Guangzhou, associate professor of English language and literature from Beijing Normal University, says that this series particularly caters to modern fragmented learning schedules, allowing adults to learn efficiently and children to stay engaged with vivid visuals.
This visually aided approach makes learning English as intuitive as learning Chinese characters, highlighting an innovative learning concept, he says.
