Xueersi, a subsidiary of Chinese education technology firm TAL Education Group, unveiled the annual user statistics for learning tablets, reflecting the deep integration of technology into Chinese students' daily routines.
According to the report, the tablet's intelligent assistant, Xiaosi, has been used a staggering 230 million times this year.
The data also revealed a curious ritual. The usage of the learning tablet surges the week before a new school term begins, with over 80 percent of users powering it up to prepare for class.
Over the past year, parents issued a collective 2.93 million virtual "likes" to their children through the tablet's interface. One particularly enthusiastic parent clicked the like button 442 times over the course of the year.
Late last year, the company rolled out its flagship learning tablet powered by the Jiuzhang Large Model, a MathGPT-driven system with advanced computational and knowledge parsing capabilities.
And the numbers don't stop there. From correcting nearly 75 million wrong answers to processing 24.6-million-word lookups and reviewing 6.29 million essays, the tablet has become a household tool for managing the grind of daily homework.
