Harry Potter fans enjoy picking which of the four Hogwarts houses they would join if they could.

Those who favor Slytherin are in luck as China Philately has a surprise in the form of a collection featuring the house's motifs and serpent emblem.

The licensed collection, launched over the weekend in Shanghai, includes notebooks, postcards, stamps and other produces and is part of the dozens of collectibles presented by China Philately to celebrate the coming Year of the Snake, which begins on Jan 29.

Every year ahead of the arrival of Lunar New Year, China Philately launches themed stamps and cultural products as a festive warm-up.

It's currently still selling albums of stamps issued in 2024, as well as a folio of four gold stamps featuring snake designs especially for 2025.

As soft stuffed toys won the hearts of young consumers over the past year, the group also launched a toy snake called Jinxiaosi.
