Fei Peng, deputy general manager of China Baowu Steel Group Corp, said this is the seventh straight year for China Baowu to take part in the expo and reach procurement deals during the event, contributing to the growing influence of the CIIE.
"In addition to fully fulfilling the deals reached in previous CIIEs, we and our partners have signed more business contracts and cooperative agreements on more diversified products this year, which we hope will create greater value in more areas of cooperation," Fei said.
With a vision of becoming the world's largest and most influential steel enterprise, China Baowu produced 130 million tons of steel in 2023, reporting 1.1 trillion yuan ($153 billion) revenue, according Fei.
