In September 2023, the enterprise purchased 70,000 green certificates for the first time and completed the largest single green certificate transaction in the provincial comprehensive system. This year, the purchase of green electricity has also been put on the agenda, and initially, 70 million kWh of green electricity has been purchased.
"Through green certificates and green electricity transactions, reducing carbon emissions throughout the product life cycle can better help us develop overseas markets." Wang Jiang, director of the public works department of Zhejiang Crystal-Optech Co Ltd said.

The increase in enterprises' demand for green certificates helps enterprises enhance their international market competitiveness and expand more overseas customers," said Cai Qingxi, chairman of State Grid (Taizhou) Comprehensive Energy Service Co Ltd.
Green electricity and green certificate consumption have gradually become a "standard configuration" for most export-oriented enterprises and are one of the important measures to reduce enterprise carbon emissions.
