TOKYO -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.0 on Wednesday jolted the Japanese prefecture of Ibaraki just east of Tokyo, said the Japan Meteorological Agency.
The tremors were felt in central Tokyo. No tsunami warning has been issued.
