Leyard's Leafun to drive night culture and tourism with innovation

Leafun, a cultural division operating under the visual tech company Leyard, has announced its commitment to advancing the comprehensive development of night culture and tourism businesses, alongside AI spatial computing innovation, aimed at fostering more innovative and competitive cultural and tourism products.

Established in 1997, Leyard has been a driving force behind numerous immersive culture and tourism projects throughout the country, including art performances at the Detian-Ban Gioc Waterfall area in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

Yuan Bo, the chairman of the board at Leafun, emphasized the growing significance of night tourism within the cultural and tourism industry during the Leyard eco-partner conference held in Beijing on April 17. He highlighted the vigorous development trend of night tourism, noting that in 2023, the national night tourism market reached a scale of 1.57 trillion yuan ($217 billion), showcasing its substantial potential for the night economy.

Yuan also pointed out that there are currently 243 national-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption clusters, offering consumers a diverse range of nighttime tourism options. With the continual expansion of the night tourism market, its future development potential is considerable, attracting increased capital investment and driving innovation and enhancement of nighttime tourism products.
