【知识点】
短道速滑起源于加拿大，在1988年卡尔加里冬奥会被列为表演项目，1992年阿尔贝维尔冬奥会被列为正式比赛项目。目前，短道速滑比赛共9个小项，分别为：男子500米、1000米、1500米、5000米接力；女子500米、1000米、1500米、3000米接力；混合团体接力。其中混合团体接力是2022年北京冬奥会新增项目。
短道速滑比赛场地通常为30米×60米，赛道为椭圆形，内缘周长111.12米。不同项目滑行圈数不同，如500米比赛滑行4.5圈，1000米比赛滑行9圈，1500米比赛滑行13.5圈。为确保运动员的安全，赛场四周安放泡沫防护垫。运动员装备主要包括冰刀和冰鞋、冰刀养护用品和防护用具。比赛时，运动员穿着头盔、手套、防割防扎耐用材料制成的护踝和护颈、长袖长裤连身服、带有软垫的硬壳护膝等防护装备。比赛采用淘汰制，首轮比赛站位通过抽签决定，小组前2—3名进入下一轮比赛，其后各轮次均按照上一轮比赛成绩分配道次，成绩优者排在内道。短道速滑是中国冰雪运动的优势项目。在本届亚冬会的短道速滑项目中，中国队在男子500米和女子接力3000米比赛中夺冠，共计收获2金2银4铜。

从北京冬奥会到哈尔滨亚冬会，中国“冰雪热”传遍大江南北，也为世界冰雪运动注入生机活力。本届参赛国家和地区数量、运动员人数都创亚冬会历史之最。我相信，在亚奥理事会和各国各地区代表团共同努力下，哈尔滨将为世界呈现一届“中国特色、亚洲风采、精彩纷呈”的体育盛会，谱写新的冰雪华章。

The current Asian Winter Games sets a new record in its history in the numbers of participating countries, regions and athletes.
