人们常说，“三岁一代沟，五岁一鸿沟”。“代沟”，指年轻一代与老一代由于经验、观点、习惯和行为等的不同而存在心理距离或心理隔阂（a situation in which older and younger people do not understand each other because of their different experiences, opinions, habits, and behavior）。
