中国国际进口博览局副局长孙成海日前表示，第五届进博会将于今年11月5日至10日举办。目前，第五届进博会各项筹备工作稳步推进，已签约的世界500强和行业龙头企业达到260家。
Preparations for the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) are progressing smoothly, and the event will be held in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to 10, CIIE Bureau Deputy Director Sun Chenghai told a press conference on Tuesday. A total of 260 Fortune 500 companies and industry-leading enterprises have confirmed their participation in the expo.

龙头企业是指在某个行业中，对同行业的其他企业具有较深影响力、号召力和一定的示范、引导作用，并对该行业作出突出贡献的企业。第五届进博会将于11月5日至11月10日如期举办。第五届进博会于近日发布公告，对符合条件的企业商业展参展企业给予“减免搭建费”等特别支持措施，并将报名截止日期延长至7月31日。据统计，从4月份至今，第五届进博会已举办近30场线上推介活动，包括针对不同国别或地区的“云招展”线上推介会和涉及不同展区专区的线上推介会，全球参展商参展报名签约火爆。6月21日，第五届进博会筹备通报会暨签约仪式成功举办。会上介绍称，第五届进博会已签约的世界500强和行业龙头企业达到260家，签约面积占规划面积比例达76%。
