China's large manufacturing firms, with an annual business turnover of at least 20 million yuan, will have all introduced digitalization by 2035, said a draft issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Wednesday. By 2025, these firms will basically have achieved digitalization, while leading firms in key industries will basically have achieved intelligent transformation, said the draft on intelligent manufacturing development.
工信部4月14日将《"十四五"智能制造发展规划（征求意见稿）》公开征求意见，提出到2025年，规模以上制造业企业基本普及数字化，重点行业骨干企业初步实现智能转型。到2035年，规模以上制造业企业全面普及数字化。
According to the draft, the technology and market competitiveness of intelligent manufacturing equipment and industrial software will see significant improvements by 2025. The intelligent manufacturing equipment will meet 70% of domestic demand, while the industrial software manufacturing will meet half of domestic demand by 2025, said the draft issued to solicit public opinion.
此外，征求意见稿提出，到2025年，智能制造装备和工业软件技术水平和市场竞争力显著提升，国内市场满足率分别超过70%和50%。

市场主体登记管理条例通过
A State Council executive meeting Wednesday passed a draft regulation on the registration management of domestic market entities. It aims to provide rule-of-law safeguards for developing market entities and boost fair competition.
国务院总理李克强4月14日主持召开国务院常务会议，通过《中华人民共和国市场主体登记管理条例(草案)》，为培育壮大市场主体和促进公平竞争提供法治保障。
During the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) period, more than 60 million new market entities were added. It has enhanced economic vitality and created numerous jobs, according to the meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang.
我国市场主体数量在"十三五"期间新增6000多万户，增强了经济活力和韧性，促进了大量就业。
The draft detailed unified regulation measures on the registration of various market entities, including companies, individually owned businesses and farm cooperatives.
草案整合已出台的关于市场主体登记管理的行政法规，对在我国境内以营利为目的从事经营活动的各类企业、个体工商户、农民专业合作社等登记管理作出统一规定。
Market entities should register with their real names and be responsible for the authenticity, legality and validity of the materials they submit.
市场主体实行实名登记，对提交材料真实性、合法性和有效性负责。
The draft also clarified the legal responsibilities and punishment for illegal acts to safeguard market order, the meeting said.
为维护市场秩序，草案还明确了违法行为的法律责任和处罚措施。

China's space agency has released an online database of the first batch of lunar samples brought back by the Chang'e-5 probe.
国家航天局4月13日发布公告称，嫦娥五号任务第一批月球样品信息和科学探测数据上线发布。
Researchers and the public can access the Lunar and Deep Space Exploration Scientific Data and Sample Release System via the website www.clep.org.cn, where they can apply for data and samples, according to the China National Space Administration, which announced the release of the database Tuesday.
研究人员和公众可通过访问中国探月与深空探测网(www.clep.org.cn)，进入月球与深空探测科学数据与样品发布系统，进行数据和样品申请。
The Chang'e-5 probe, which returned to Earth on Dec. 17, 2020, retrieved a total of 1,731 grams of lunar samples, mainly rocks and soil from the lunar surface.
嫦娥五号探测器于2020年12月17日返回地球，共采集了1731克月球样本，主要是月球表面的岩石和土壤。
According to China's lunar sample management regulations, the samples will be generally used for four purposes, namely, permanent storage, backup permanent storage, research and public welfare.

US President Joe Biden announced on Wednesday that all US troops will be withdrawn from Afghanistan before Sept 11, a decision to end the longest war in American history.
美国总统拜登4月14日宣布，美军将于9月11日前全部撤出阿富汗，终结这场美国史上最久的战争。
"The United States will begin our final withdrawal, beginning on May 1 of this year," Biden said in his remarks at the White House. "US troops, as well as forces deployed by our NATO allies and operational partners, will be out of Afghanistan before we mark the 20th anniversary of that heinous attack on Sept 11." Biden delivered the address in the Treaty Room, the same place where then-President George W. Bush informed the nation that the US military had begun airstrikes against terrorists in Afghanistan nearly two decades ago.
拜登当天下午在白宫条约厅就阿富汗撤军问题发表讲话，这里也是前总统小布什20年前宣布美军发动对阿富汗境内恐怖分子空中打击的地方。拜登表示，撤军行动将于5月1日起展开，驻阿富汗美军和北约部队等盟军将在9.11恐袭20周年前全部撤离。
"It is time to end America's longest war. It is time for American troops to come home," he said, noting that the US has achieved counterterrorism objectives in this war.
