Wuhan, Hubei province, has opened China's first "7S shop" for humanoid robots on Tuesday, a retail and service model that extends the country's familiar 4S car dealership concept.
Developed by the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, the 7S model expands the traditional 4S framework — sales, spare parts, service, and survey — by adding three new elements: solution, show, and school.
The store offers humanoid robots priced between 70,000 yuan ($9,834) and 500,000 yuan, designed for uses ranging from industrial manufacturing and tourism guidance to elder care and healthcare services. All robots on display are produced locally.

The store features display and maintenance areas as well as training facilities. Customers can purchase robots, request customized functions, or apply for financing. Components such as chips, reducers, and robotic hands are available for sale, with standard parts deliverable the same day and special parts within three days.
In addition to sales and servicing, the shop offers training courses on programming and maintenance for individual and institutional users.
