The extraordinary female employees of State Grid Shaoxing Power Supply in Shaoxing ancient town, Zhejiang province, have become renowned for providing unparalleled customer service.

The female team, with an average age of 28, has been honored with the title "National Advanced Women Collective", earning social acclaim for outstanding service, innovative practices and dedication.

The team's "mobile service hall" service brings counters to residents' doorsteps, and has served more than 400,000 people. They actively cooperate with administrative service centers and village convenience centers, allowing electricity services to reach every household.

The "Hongjie hotline" is another hallmark of the team. Named after the team leader Hu Hong, this hotline not only solves residents' electricity issues but also provides one-on-one services for widowed, elderly and disabled individuals. The hotline has developed into a volunteer team, who shuttle between enterprises, communities and rural areas year-round, providing professional electricity consultations and services.

State Grid Shaoxing Power Supply Company's business hall was the first in the province to integrate resources from electricity, water and gas services, allowing the public to avoid having to run around. Their pioneering "five hearts service method" has garnered widespread praise, becoming the guiding principle of every staff member.

The team emphasizes a training system to enhance professional competence and service capabilities. They also act as "electricity housekeepers" for corporate clients, saving expenses for businesses through measures like recommending peak-valley electricity prices and adjusting billing methods.

During daily work, Hu engages in voluntary services to assist the elderly and those in need. To address issues, the team delves into streets and communities, focusing on 51 old neighborhoods in the ancient town. They've identified hidden risks, changed light bulbs, switches and checked lines.

Every Wednesday afternoon, the "silver age classroom" in Yuedu community is full of residents. More than 30 elderly people learn online skills and anti-fraud knowledge there. Addressing the elderly's reluctance to trouble their children, the team has set up a service station in the Yuedu community, providing on-site training and resolving electricity issues.

State Grid Shaoxing Power Supply Company also values education. By collaborating with Beihai Primary School, Shaoxing No 1 High School and other schools to offer classes and summer practices, it spreads the concepts of green development, energy conservation and low carbon emissions.

Since 2021, the company has organized 289 themed activities, benefiting thousands of students. Staff member Fu Jinying said that they aim to sow bright seeds in more people's hearts.

When encouraging the team, Hu said: "Even a small window can achieve great things." Twenty-six female staff members, with over a decade of commitment to heartfelt service, have demonstrated their dedication. From the mobile service hall to fingertip electricity services, from the "Hongjie hotline" to the "silver age classroom," they showcase the essence of warm-hearted electricity services.
