Huaruide, a biotechnology company based in Tianjin, launched two series of dermatologist-approved skincare products for children on Thursday in Beijing.
One series is designed for babies aged 0-3 years, and the other is for kids aged 3-12 years.
According to Hao Hong, the founder and chief executive officer of the company, the skincare products have been developed with the guidance of dermatologists and aim to protect, moisturize, soothe, nourish and strengthen the delicate skin barriers of infants and young children.
"When developing our products, we have always avoided risky ingredients to ensure that we offer pure, natural and minimalist skincare," Hao stated.
She emphasized that 11 common skincare additives—including silicone oil, alcohol, fragrance, mineral oil, allergens, acne-causing ingredients, artificial colors, preservatives, parabens, talc and salicylic acid—are prohibited in the formulas of Huaruide's infant and child skincare products.
"We also did not include any hormones or antibiotics for efficacy," she added.
"As a mother, I understand that parents can often be confused when selecting the right products for their children. This motivates me to provide safe, high-quality products backed by scientific and medical research to more families," Hao explained.
During the launch, the company announced a collaboration with Yuanfang Haowu, an e-commerce platform known for organic products, to distribute the skincare line.
A senior manager at Yuanfang Haowu noted that Huaruide's new products stand out due to their minimalist formulas supported by medical science, addressing an industry gap and meeting the widespread demand for reliable skincare products for young children.
