Staff members from the State Grid Shaoxing Power Supply Company's power supply station conducted an electricity service activity in Jinsheng village on Dec 6 to facilitate rural vitalization and enhance electricity services.
"This service model is really great. It can help us solve some tricky electricity issues without having to go to the service hall. It saves time and effort and is convenient and quick," said one user at the site.
In the village-network co-construction project, the grid member was selected from the area managers of the local power supply station, with workers from the power supply station taking turns to be stationed. Leveraging the Red Boat Service Team and utilizing the electricity cloud terminal, efforts are made to enable users to handle transactions remotely.
During the activity, workers from the State Grid Shaoxing Power Supply Company set up consultation service points, providing detailed information to villagers on electrical safety, electricity payment methods, power fault reporting procedures and other practical information. They also answered various questions that villagers encounter frequently. Additionally, staff members visited villagers' homes to explain the electricity service processing procedures, provide electrical equipment inspection services and ensure the electrical safety of villagers.
This village-network co-construction project activity not only effectively broke down communication barriers between regional power supply stations and users but also enhanced the quality of rural electricity services, the company said. In the next step, the State Grid Shaoxing Power Supply Company will explore a working model that strengthens interactions with local government agencies, striving to establish an organizational system led by government departments with multi-service enterprises working together for public service. They will intensify publicity efforts, starting from areas of interest to the general public and using language that the public can easily understand to promote electricity knowledge.
