Beijing's Fengtai district has recently launched several talent training programs and implemented a series of policies to provide support to graduate students.
On offer are more than 2,000 jobs, 16,000 square meters of entrepreneurial space with lower-than-market costs and around 500 apartments for young entrepreneurs.
In addition, selected talents or teams from intern camps will be given a maximum of 2 million yuan of financial support, as well as services like project funding, talent cultivation, education, medical care and housing.

Through these series of measures, the Fengtai government aims to further strengthen its resources of young talents while promoting the organic integration of education, science and technology.
To attract more talents to settle down in Fengtai, the district has also strengthened cooperation with universities, research institutes and enterprises, trying to establish a closer industry-university-research cooperation mechanism. High-end forums were also held in 2024 to promote communication between young people from different parts of the world, creating opportunities to attract both talents and advanced industries to set up in Fengtai.

"We are a team from Tsinghua University, and we are very passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship. When I came to Fengtai, I felt that the entrepreneurial atmosphere here was so great with strong support from the government," a graduate in charge of an AI company said.
Many students from universities both domestic and overseas have come to Fengtai to witness and explore its development. Internship opportunities from various companies were provided to students during those activities.
