More than 6,000 VTubers (virtual YouTubers) are currently active on Bilibili, attracting nearly 6 million viewers during the first quarter of 2019.

The event, known as Bilibili Macro Link (BML), featured the use of advanced technologies that allowed for interaction between the virtual singers and the audience. The concert also featured popular VTubers.
